Harouna Ouedraogo was born in 1981 in Ouahigouya, in the north of Burkina Faso.

He began painting in 2000 then started art studies at Inafac (National Institute for artistic and cultural training) in Ouagadougou for three years. A creator with an expressive and unique style, Harouna experiments with both abstraction and figuration with freedom and rich colors.
