Camille Torchon was born July 16, 1953 in Port-au-Prince. Murat Saint-Vils imaginary landscapes have been a great inspiration to this artist, but Torchon developed his own style. His paintings were shown in many countries starting in 1973.
Torchon is considered a member of the Jacmel or Dream Landscape school, and is widely shown and collected internationally, particularly in Europe.
